AMPS Sound Training Centre has a reputation for excellence. We offer a wide range of training:  bespoke 1-2-1 sessions, non-accredited courses and workshops as well as accredited courses ranging from L2 Awards to L3 Certificates.

Song Writing

Gain an understanding of music genres; popular music, use of lyrics and compositional devices.

Create, develop and complete your song and learn how your skill fits within the music/creative industries.

Composition

Identify the start of an original composition; assess instrumentation; use hook, melody and rhythm in music; arrange and structure techniques.

Learners will complete individual Style guide worksheet to create a project brief for their own productions.

Mixing

Develop an understanding of how mixing is used in the production of music; demonstrate mixing technique; be able to evaluate a good mix.

You will be provided with a set of raw stems with a project brief to aid your progression.
